A Post of His Own

I feel like my last 2 posts mostly centered on the Drewster and what he is doing lately so I thought my little Lukie deserved an update.

Does anyone know how to freeze time?  Because I REALLY want to freeze this boy the way he is.

I'm so in love with him! He surprises me everyday with the stuff he says.  He can carry on quite the conversation for a 2 year old.   He is constantly asking me questions and talking about anything and everything.  He is hilarious!  He can sing all of the words to "I am a Child of God" and "Sunbeam".  He also loves the "Wheels on the Bus" song.  He just makes me so happy!  He seems to have such a good memory too.  When I read him books (especially the ones we read a lot), he will just start saying the words before I do.   Sometimes in the middle of the night he will be yelling "Mom!", so I go in there all groggy and he is just grinning and says to me "I want to snuggle wif you".  Oh little boy you are killing me!

Lately he is also into everyone's names.  He will ask what your name is, and then he will say "my name is Wookie (Lukie)".  In fact, in sacrament meeting the other day he yelled at the top of his lungs that my name is Mommy, and his name is Lukie.  Good times.

He is also a crazy kid.  He will JUMP off anything!! Drives me crazy!  He always says "Mom, I'm gonna jump weally high" and then he tries with all of his might.  Especially at the top of the stairs, I have to make sure I am paying attention because he will try to jump into my arms no matter what.  :)  At the park he thinks he is a big kid and tries to climb up anything and everything.  It stops my heart a little bit sometimes!

He has started being a little defiant lately too.  Yelling "No" at me when I ask him to do something.  Pushing his brother, teasing his brother (although Drew does PLENTY of his own teasing!).

Man I love this kid.  I guess I am done bragging about him now (ha ha that's how this post feels!) but I just want to always remember these little things about him.

I LOVE YOU LUKIE BOY!

I think age 16 months-ish to about 2 is the best and most fun! I'd like to freeze my little guy for awhile. He's so happy (and I know that will change). :)

Sweet Lukie! I love that he knows all those songs. I can still remember him belting out the ABCs. Super cute.
