The Drewster is 4!!!!

On July 28, my little sweet boy turned 4. Seriously where has the time gone?! I think he had a fun birthday this year. First, he got to celebrate a little bit in Beaver with Grandma Lu, Papa, and Grandma and Grandpa T. Then on his actual birthday we took him out to dinner and then had some good friends over for cake and ice cream.. then the Saturday after his birthday we had some of his little friends over for a birthday party! (I thought the kid's birthday festivities were never going to end! :))

His actual birthday was on a Thursday so we went swimming at our rec center. This kid LOVES to swim! On a side note, he just completed 2 weeks of swim lessons and he did great! He puts his face in the water now and holds his breath under water. Anyway back to the birthday. :)

So on Saturday he got to have his first friend party. We had 5 or 6 of his little buddies come over. They got to color Cars and trucks, Have pretend car races, Break a pinata, and then of course Pizza, cake/ice cream and presents. It was really simple, but I think the kids had a good time!

Drew had fun and kept asking when he can have his next birthday party. He seems to be growing up so fast. He went to preschool today (just for an hour by himself, they wanted to ease the kids into it) and then next week he gets to go every Tues and Thurs for 3 hours. He is excited! I love that kid so much. He is definitely still a Momma's boy and loves to snuggle and hug me. I hope he never gets too old for that!
