Lukie is 2!!!

I can't believe my little baby boy is 2! Sadness! It goes by WAY too fast. I'm so madly in love with this kid. He is such a funny little guy!

His birthday was Saturday, June 11. We just had a fun family day together and it was great! Here he is having birthday breakfast of waffles and cheerios:

After breakfast we put up the little family pool and Ral and I sat in there with the kids while they played (we get a little desperate around here in the heat! :))

After lunch he took his usual 3 hour nap and we decorated the living room and got his presents wrapped and made the usual birthday cupcakes.




Then we just went out to dinner to Raising Canes so he could get some chicken and fries (his standard answer whenever I ask him what he wants to eat.. I am a great mom! ha ha) Then came home for opening presents!

Have I told you this kid is kinda weird? He does not like treats of any kind! In fact we handed him his delicious chocolate cupcake for his birthday and he yelled that he didn't want it and chucked it on the ground. Good times.


He is so much fun though. Everyday he surprises me with the things he says. He is talking in complete sentences already and loves to sing songs. Every morning I ask him what he wants to wear today and he answers without fail "truck shirt pweese" :). That night we put him to bed and heard him singing happy birthday to himself over and over.
