Choot Choot!!!

Saturday we took the boys on a train ride in Boulder City. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time. Luke was kind of a stinker until the train started moving and then he was mesmorized.

Drew was pretty excited to see the special train guest.. Santa! This is his face as Santa was approaching..

But look how quickly his nervous excitement turned to straight disdain:

The poor kid choked and did not tell Santa what he wants for Christmas (a new bike wif lots of twaining wheels on it). As soon as Santa went on to the next kid Drew says "I want a bike!". and then the whole way home he cried about how he still wants a bike. We will see Santa again soon and hopefully he won't choke this time. ha ha

I think we've found a new yearly Christmas tradition! It is so fun reliving things through your kids isn't it?

Catchin up with pictures

The last three weeks I:

Went on a girl's only weekend to St. George with some of my bestest friends in the whole wide world. Seriously LOVE these girls. We all met in Oregon when our husbands were in law school. We've stayed tight ever since and 5 out of the 7 in this picture live here in Vegas. Yeah!

Went to Utah for Thanksgiving and didn't take any pictures because I am super lazy.

Stayed a few extra days and drove home with my sweet parents who stayed with us through the weekend. We went to dinner, shopped till we dropped (me and the Ma) and took a quick trip to the new bridge that bypasses Hoover Dam. I almost peed my pants it was so high!

Decorated for Christmas with the help of my Momma. (wouldn't it be nice if I actually had furniture in my living room? Please Santa hook me up!!)

Attempted some family pictures where I could not get either child to look at the camera at the same time! Little stinkers!

We also had Raleigh's work party while my parents were here (free babysitting anyone?!) It was nice to leave the kids with them and be able to go have a fun time. The party was at the Bali Hai Golf Club near Mandalay Bay on the strip. The food was excellent and of course it is always fun to wear something other than jeans and a t-shirt (aka my stay-at-home mom uniform).

We didn't get a great picture of us all dressed up. This time I believe my photogenical struggles partnered with my sucky camera were to blame. Ah, what can ya do?

Good pictures or not, it's been a great couple of weeks. YAY for Christmas time, I love it!
